How do I respond to a comment?

First of all, identify the comment you would like to respond to using one of the many search criteria. Once the comment is identified, click on the reply button for the comment to open a dialog box 

In the new dialog box, click on the Edit button to enable edit mode

Authors can only edit the comment if no one else has already locked the comment. If another user is already working on the comment, an error message is displayed on the screen. 

Once unlocked, enter your response, change the response type from the drop down and click on the Response button.

If you would like to save the response as a Draft, leave the response type as Pending.
